Radius Insurance Group LLC is a licensed Florida insurance agency and surplus lines producer, operating as a wholesale broker. We do not act as a retail agency and we do not solicit business away from the producing agent of record. Agency and producer license numbers are provided directly to appointed agents and carriers on request — email us and we'll send the current listing.
Coverage may be placed with non-admitted (surplus lines) insurers. Non-admitted insurers are not licensed by the state and, in the event of insolvency, policyholders are not protected by the Florida Insurance Guaranty Association or the equivalent guaranty fund in other states. Surplus lines placements are subject to applicable state surplus lines taxes, stamping fees and diligent-effort requirements, which are disclosed on each quote.
Placements are made with admitted specialty carriers, non-admitted surplus lines carriers and PEO master policies. Radius does not guarantee the solvency of any insurer. Carrier financial strength ratings are provided with each indication so the producing agent can review them with the insured before binding.
Radius is compensated by commission paid by the carrier, PEO or program administrator, and in some cases by broker fees disclosed on the quote before binding. Commission splits with the producing agent are agreed in writing before the account goes to market.
Loss runs, payroll records and other submission materials are used solely to market the account to carriers and are not shared outside that process. Radius does not contact the insured directly without the producing agent's authorization.
